Sarah says:
The first time I was able to get behind my camera after lockdown 1.0 was in August 2020! Justin and I had enjoyed some home time together as a family, going on lots of long walks with Oliver (8 months old) in the pram and settling into our new home. Life at the start of 2020 was very busy and we were ramping up for a full year of weddings! Oliver was already on the road having made his debut at Nicky & Chris’s wedding in Northumberland in February 2020 when he was just 2 months old! Life was exciting and scary at the same time! We had new born and we’d just moved house and then all of a sudden the world was forced to paused and stay home!
This was the longest I’d been away from Justin & Oliver in months and I missed them whilst I was shooting away at Cheshire View but it was nice to meet lots of very talented wedding suppliers who have become great friends of ours! Read all about our inspiration shoot at Cheshire View and why I loved being able to show off my creative wedding photography Cheshire style!
The shoot was organised by Claire founder of Bouquet and Bells and one of my images takes pride of place on the front cover of her Spring 2021 edition! Let’s hear from Claire:
Claire says: We have been inspired by smaller celebrations, alfresco dining and just outdoor weddings in general. With views overlooking beautiful rural Cheshire, we just knew Cheshire View was the ideal location for this shoot. We focused on bringing the outdoors in and continued the theme seamlessly throughout various locations within the gardens.

- OUTDOOR WEDDING CEREMONY OPTION
I adore shooting outdoor wedding ceremonies and although they can be a bit risky in the UK, Cheshire View have some indoor ceremony areas as a back up too! Civil ceremonies can take place in their new Gazebo, called the Garden Room which is fully licensed and totally beautiful!
Not only can you get legally married under the sky at Cheshire View, but there are some lovely backdrops for a ceremony scene. Booking a Celebrant such as Jen Walker, means that you have the freedom to enjoy a ceremony wherever you like! I love working with Jen! She’s kind-hearted and always manages to make the ceremony super personal and romantic and is sure to help us shed a tear or five million during the ceremony!
