Oh, the romance!
When I was asked to capture the first styled shoot for Hall & Co Event Design at Horsley Hale Farm, I was thrilled! This beautiful blank canvas wedding venue is just the ticket for my couples on the look out for a venue where they can be creative! Jasmine suited the soft polkadot wedding dress and cascading vale from Jo at Woburn Bridal and looking so beautiful with her natural yet romantic hair and make up from Elly Jane makeup artist. The flowers by Jades Floral Design in the rowing boat gave me major Notebook vibes! The cake by Spooned was as delicious as it looked and the stationary as tactile and fine art as can be, by Eliza May Prints.
Cara from Hall & Co; The concept behind the shoot was natural beauty; organic, fresh and slightly undone. Simply, Horsley Hale’s effortlessly stunning surroundings were the inspiration for our organic greenery photoshoot. We wanted to echo the simplicity of the organic location within our raw, fresh, colour palette, and thus, emerald and bottle greens reflect the infinite hues of green that enchant Horsley Hale’s unique six acre venue. Milky whites compliment, yet offset, such earthy tones of woodland green, while a hint of gold adds a touch of warmth. Again inspired by the natural beauty of Horsley’s gardens, the meadowy floral arrangements are ethereal and wild. Although the day was hardly sun soaked, when the sunshine did fleetingly appear, it speckled though the leaves and the shadows danced.
